Philadelphia is a city that prides itself on toughness. We love tough athletes in Philly and despise pretty boys and softies. There is no tougher athlete in Philly right now than Michael Vick. Vick is playing behind the weakest NFL offensive line in history. Vick is under attack from the moment the ball is snapped. When the snap is from the shotgun, the defenders are in the backfield waiting for Vick when he drops back.

Vick should stay in the pocket," is the refrain from hosts at 97.5 The Fanatic in Philly. WHAT POCKET? THERE IS NO POCKET?? VICK IS RUNNING FOR HIS VERY LIFE FROM THE MOMENT THE BALL IS SNAPPED!!
One 97.5 host expressed "concern" because Vick gets "hurt so much." IT IS A MIRACLE THAT VICK LASTED AS LONG AS HE DID BEHIND THE EAGLES SISSIFIED O-LINE !
If Vick were white he would be a hero in Philly because of his toughness!
Robert Griffin III (RG3) wins the Heisman Trophy as the best athlete in college football, yet Andrew Luck is picked first in the draft! Is this another case of the white quarterback being preferred over the Black QB?
Listening to 97.5 FM in Philadelphia will reveal a strong bias towards Andrew Luck. When someone makes the case that RG3 is better, the retort is something along the lines of "all the great quarterbacks like John Elway and Joe Montana were pocket quarterbacks." What? So RG3 must be better than Elway and Montana in order to be better than Andrew Luck??
And what is this "pocket quarterback" vs. "running QB" controversy really about?? RG3 is a QB who clearly can do it all and cannot be labeled with the racial code word "running QB." "Running QB" is code for "Inferior Black QB", with the implication that the prestigious position of QB really belongs to whites.
But RG3 is frequently called a "running QB" even though he looks to throw first and only runs when the play breaks down and he is able to turn a loss into a gain. When a white QB runs it is called "extending the play" or "making a play with his legs."
One commentator on 97.5 said that he prefers Luck over RG3 because Cam Newton had a great rookie year and then did not have the same kind of year in his second season. What??? What does Cam Newton's play have to with RG3 and Luck?? The answer: the commentator subconsciously lumps "Black QBs together. If you've seen one "running/Black QB, you've seen them all" evidently.

HOW DOES ANYONE MAKE THE CASE THAT LUCK IS BETTER THAN RG3?
Philadelphia Eagles fans and media are making excuse after excuse for the inept, incompetent play of Nick Foles.
Nick Foles greatest attribute, as far as racist Eagles fans and racist Philadelphia media is that he is not Black like Michael Vick! Foles fumbled and bumbled his way through 6 quarters of NFL football. Yet, racist Eagles fans and media still consider him to be better than Michael Vick.
When Vick runs it is said, "Vick holds on to the ball too long!" When Foles runs the media says, Foles is "extending the play." A Michael Vick interception is condemned throughout the city. Foles interceptions are "not his fault.
Foles should be the quarterback because "He is the future of the Eagles and Vick is not." Why is Foles the future and not Vick? Doesn't the best quarterback get the job? If the Eagles cannot get a better quarterback than Vick, then why should the Fools, I mean Foles get the job? There is absolutely nothing about Nick Foles that indicates he will be a good NFL quarterback. Can you say, "career backup quarterback?"
